- CINET's Partnership with the Conference Highlights its Commitment to Revolutionizing Digital Transformation in Kuwait
As part of its commitment to advancing digital transformation in Kuwait, CINET, the country's only provider of credit information and credit score, participated in the Third Kuwait Digital Transformation Conference. Held on December 2–3 at the Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Resort, the event was organized by the Central Agency for Information Technology and featured prominent experts and speakers from various sectors, including finance, investment, banking, insurance, and education, both locally and regionally.
Representing CINET as the chair of this year’s conference, CEO Mrs. Mai Bader AlOwaish highlighted in her opening speech the crucial collaboration between public and private sectors in accelerating digital transformation initiatives across Kuwait. She stated, “The collective presence here exemplifies a practical and clear embodiment of cooperation, as we explore how to shape the future of digital transformation in Kuwait.”
Mrs. AlOwaish emphasized, “For digital transformation to be effective and successful, it must center around the human factor—both as users and as those responsible for developing technological solutions.”
During her participation in a panel discussion titled "Kuwait's Digital Leap: Towards Citizen-Centric Digital Services," AlOwaish underscored the importance of tailoring technology to serve local needs, stressing that not all imported solutions align with Kuwait's unique requirements.
She added, “At CINET, we are dedicated to adopting significant digital transformation initiatives that empower our partners and clients to make sound lending decisions, thereby reducing the risks associated with financing. This ultimately contributes to building a robust local economy and achieving Kuwait’s vision of becoming a leading financial and commercial hub by 2035.”
Mrs. AlOwaish also highlighted the critical need to develop and empower Kuwaiti talents to build and maintain these modern systems within both public and private institutions.
With its successful conclusion, CINET’s partnership with the Third Kuwait Digital Transformation Conference serves as a testament to the event’s significance as a groundbreaking and essential platform for driving digital progress in Kuwait. By showcasing pioneering experiences and fostering impactful discussions, the conference has cemented its role in the country’s technological evolution.
